My computer has been having sound card problems. I scrapped the first show files because I just could not get the voice tracks to work.
There’s an issue with loudness; you can’t hear me on the mic, and I had to put my mouth on the thing to get some sound. I tried to tweak the loudness, but that just caused distortion and feedback noise.
Did someone say podcasting was easy?
I’ll have to get a new computer, the one I have is 5 years old. I haven’t budgeted for one, so I’m not sure when I can do it. There are some sales out there, and I’m going on the hunt.
Some delay with the website too, designs are in just need to set up with the provider and get it all online. Soon baby, soon.
Thank you for checking in with me, and sorry for the delays. I don’t want to put out a crappy-ass podcast.

Hey Larry, how's it goin'? If you haven't settled on a host for your show yet, you might take a look at podomatic.com, they seem to have a pretty good free service for podcasters, along with options for paying for more "premium" hosting. I think the Drunken Zombie guys use podomatic premium? Mat uses the free side of podomatic for some of our stuff, in addition to us keeping it all on our own webspace.
I'm not a serious web professional, but I know how to do a little bit here and there, so if there's any sort of basic things you have questions about, feel free to ask and I'll answer to the best of my ability.
Cheers!
